The interaction between electromagnetic (EM) energy and biological tissues has become a critical area of study in biomedical engineering and electromagnetic research. This paper presents an investigation into the characteristics of bio-tissues when exposed to various frequencies of electromagnetic energy. The study focuses on understanding parameters such as dielectric constant, conductivity, permittivity, and specific absorption rate (SAR), which determine how EM waves propagate, absorb, and dissipate within biological materials. Different types of tissues—such as skin, muscle, fat, and bone—exhibit distinct electromagnetic properties depending on their composition and water content. Experimental and simulation-based analyses are conducted to evaluate tissue behavior under microwave and radio frequency (RF) exposure. The findings provide insights into optimizing medical applications such as imaging, hyperthermia treatment, and wireless body area networks, while also addressing safety concerns related to electromagnetic radiation. This research contributes to the development of safer and more effective biomedical devices and diagnostic systems.
