Some Studies on Automation of Library management System using the Ansible-Playbook

Automation plays a crucial role in improving the efficiency and reliability of modern information systems. This study focuses on the automation of a Library Management System (LMS) using Ansible Playbook, an open-source IT automation tool. Traditional library management systems require extensive manual configuration, deployment, and maintenance, leading to time consumption and potential errors. The proposed approach utilizes Ansible’s infrastructure-as-code methodology to automate the installation, configuration, and updating processes of the LMS across multiple servers. Through declarative playbooks, tasks such as database setup, web server configuration, and user management are executed consistently and efficiently. This automation reduces human intervention, ensures uniform system performance, and simplifies scalability for growing library networks. The study demonstrates that integrating Ansible automation enhances operational efficiency, minimizes downtime, and improves reliability in managing digital library services. This approach can be extended to other educational or institutional systems requiring consistent configuration and maintenance.
