Health Care Monitoring System using Internet of Things

The Internet of Things (IoT) has emerged as a transformative technology in the healthcare sector, enabling continuous, real-time monitoring of patients’ vital signs and improving the quality of medical services. This paper presents an IoT-based Health Care Monitoring System designed to collect, analyze, and transmit health data such as heart rate, temperature, blood pressure, and oxygen levels through interconnected smart sensors. The data is sent to a cloud platform where it can be accessed by healthcare professionals and caregivers remotely. This system enhances patient care by enabling early detection of abnormalities and providing timely medical intervention. Additionally, mobile and web applications can notify doctors and patients through alerts in case of critical conditions. The proposed system reduces the need for frequent hospital visits, minimizes human error, and supports remote healthcare delivery, especially for elderly and chronic patients. The integration of IoT, cloud computing, and data analytics ensures efficiency, scalability, and reliability in modern healthcare management.
