Peer Review Policy for IJRDES

The Strict review process at the International Journal for Research in Development in Engineering and Science (IJRDES) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic excellence, and ensures that all submitted manuscripts meet high academic and ethical standards before publication. Upon submission, the editorial team performs an initial screening to verify compliance with the journal’s scope, formatting guidelines, and ethical requirements. Manuscripts passing this stage are assigned to subject-matter experts for peer review. In this system, neither the authors nor the reviewers are aware of each other’s identities. This approach minimizes bias related to nationality, institution, seniority, or personal associations.

IJRDES follows a Double-Blind Review System, where both authors and reviewers remain anonymous, minimizing potential biases and ensuring objective evaluation. Reviewers assess the manuscript based on originality, methodology, accuracy, clarity, and relevance to the field and Strictly follow Plagarism Policies (below 10 % Plagarism with Zero % Genarative AI Plagarsim. They provide constructive feedback, suggest improvements, and recommend one of the following: Acceptance, Revision(Minor or Major revision), or Rejection. Reviewers provide detailed reports to help authors improve the quality of their research.

Authors are required to address reviewer comments and resubmit revised manuscripts, which may undergo further review if necessary. The editorial board then makes the final decision regarding publication. This rigorous process guarantees the reliability, credibility, and scientific merit of all published work. By maintaining transparency, fairness, and high-quality standards, IJRDES ensures that its publications contribute meaningfully to the advancement of research in engineering, science, and technology.

The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision acceptance, revision, or rejection based on reviewer recommendations and overall merit of the submission. Revised manuscripts undergo further review to ensure that all comments have been appropriately addressed. The journal’s peer review policy ensures transparency, academic integrity, ethical publishing practices, and the dissemination of high-quality research across engineering and technology domains.

Double Binded Peer Review Process -

The double-blind peer review process is a widely adopted method in academic publishing to ensure impartiality and fairness in manuscript evaluation. In this system, both the authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other, preventing any potential bias related to the authors’ identity, affiliation, gender, or reputation. This approach allows manuscripts to be judged solely on scientific merit, originality, methodology, and clarity. After submission, the editorial team conducts an initial screening to check for adherence to the journal’s scope, formatting, and ethical guidelines. Manuscripts that pass this stage are forwarded to qualified expert reviewers who assess the work based on predefined criteria, such as research quality, data accuracy, novelty, and relevance. Reviewers provide detailed feedback, suggest improvements, and recommend Acceptance, Revision, or Rejection.

Authors are expected to address all reviewer comments during revisions, ensuring that the final manuscript meets the required standards. By maintaining this double-blind review system, journals like IJRDES uphold the principles of fairness, transparency, and academic integrity, promoting high-quality research publications and minimizing conflicts of interest or bias in the evaluation process.

Double-Blind Peer Review Process for IJRDES

The International Journal of Research and Development in Engineering Sciences (IJRDES) follows a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the highest standards of academic quality and research integrity. In this system, the identities of both the authors and the reviewers are kept completely confidential throughout the evaluation process. This approach minimizes bias and promotes an objective assessment of the submitted manuscripts.

Once a paper is submitted, it undergoes an initial screening by the editorial team to verify its relevance, originality, formatting compliance, and adherence to ethical guidelines. Manuscripts that pass this preliminary check are assigned to expert reviewers with appropriate subject knowledge.

Reviewers evaluate the paper based on scientific soundness, clarity of presentation, novelty, methodology, significance of results, and contribution to the engineering domain. They provide constructive feedback, highlight areas for improvement, and recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection. Since reviewer and author identities remain undisclosed, the evaluation is fair, unbiased, and free from personal or institutional influence.

After receiving reviewer comments, authors revise their manuscripts accordingly. The revised version is re-evaluated to ensure that the reviewers’ suggestions have been adequately addressed. A final decision is then taken by the editorial board based on reviewer recommendations and overall manuscript quality. This transparent, impartial, and systematic double-blind review process enables IJRDES to maintain scholarly excellence, promote ethical research practices, and publish high-quality contributions that advance the engineering and technology disciplines.

The double-blinded peer review process is designed to ensure objective evaluation of manuscripts while minimizing bias. The process begins with Manuscript Submission, where authors upload their work following journal formatting and ethical guidelines. The Editorial Screening stage checks for scope compliance, originality, ethical adherence, and completeness. Manuscripts passing this stage are anonymized and sent to Subject-Matter Expert Reviewers, ensuring both authors and reviewers remain unknown to each other.

Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on criteria such as originality, methodology, clarity, data accuracy, and relevance. They provide detailed comments, highlight strengths and weaknesses, and recommend one of three outcomes: Acceptance, Revision, or Rejection. Authors address reviewer feedback and resubmit a revised version if necessary. The editorial board then conducts a final assessment, considering reviewer recommendations and the quality of revisions.

Outcome Analysis involves measuring the effectiveness of the review process through metrics such as manuscript quality improvement, adherence to ethical standards, and reduction of bias. Double-blind review enhances transparency, maintains scientific integrity, and ensures that acceptance decisions are based purely on research merit rather than author identity. The process results in high-quality, credible publications that contribute meaningfully to the field of engineering and science.

Statistics

Statistics is the branch of mathematics that deals with the collection, organization, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of data. It provides systematic methods to summarize large volumes of information, identify patterns, and make informed decisions based on data. Statistics is broadly divided into two types: Descriptive and Inferential.

Descriptive statistics involves techniques to summarize and present data effectively, using measures such as mean, median, mode, standard deviation, variance, and graphical representations like histograms, bar charts, and pie charts. These methods help researchers understand the central tendency, variability, and distribution of data in a clear and concise manner.

Inferential statistics, on the other hand, uses data from a sample to make predictions or generalizations about a larger population. It includes hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, correlation, regression analysis, and analysis of variance (ANOVA). By applying probabilistic models, inferential statistics allows researchers to draw conclusions and make decisions while quantifying the uncertainty associated with their inferences.

Statistics is widely used across scientific research, engineering, economics, medicine, and social sciences. It provides a robust framework for experimental design, data interpretation, and evidence-based decision-making, ensuring that conclusions are both reliable and scientifically valid.

The review process in scholarly journals ensures the quality, originality, and scientific validity of published work. At IJRDES, manuscripts undergo an Initial Editorial Screening to verify scope, formatting, and adherence to ethical standards. Submissions passing this stage enter a Double-Blind Peer Review, where expert reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, methodology, clarity, data accuracy, and relevance. Reviewers provide constructive feedback, and the editorial board makes a final decision: acceptance, revision, or rejection. Authors revise manuscripts accordingly, and the board ensures revisions meet required standards before publication.

Metrics are used to assess both the manuscript quality and journal impact. Common metrics include citation counts, h-index, impact factor, download rates, and altmetrics, which measure visibility, influence, and engagement of published research. These metrics guide editorial policies and help authors understand the reach of their work.

Indexing Procedures ensure that published articles are discoverable in academic databases. IJRDES follows recognized indexing protocols, submitting accepted papers to databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed, Google Scholar, and others. Indexing enhances accessibility, improves citation potential, and contributes to global recognition of research outputs. By combining a rigorous review process, transparent metrics, and systematic indexing, the journal maintains high academic standards and research credibility.
